Alright, this is super belated, but better late than never, right? A few years ago, my family started a tradition of going to Trump Chicago‘s beautiful Christmas brunch. It’s a fun way to spend the holiday morning together, dress up, eat an absurd amount of food, and see some reindeer (seriously, they bring in live reindeer to hang out on the terrace and it’s awesome).  Because I knew we’d be hanging out on the terrace with the reindeer, I opted out of a skirt or dress, to avoid issues with the wind or cold. Instead, I wore my favorite (okay, only) red blazer (I love it so much that when I burned it with an iron a few years ago, I immediately ordered a brand new one), over some simple black pieces. And, most importantly, my Christmas hat (named such because that’s pretty much the only time I wear it.)
